How many lines can get the discount?
Up to 2 lines on myPlan Unlimited Welcome. After two lines, standard multi-line pricing applies.
What if I’m not in Florida?
You can’t newly add Verizon’s 55+ discount. If you already have a legacy 55+ plan outside Florida, you can keep it; otherwise consider T-Mobile 55+ or AT&T 55+ for nationwide senior offers.
What do the $45 and $80 prices include?
They’re per-month for Unlimited Welcome with Auto Pay & paper-free billing, plus taxes & fees (add-ons/perks extra).

Hard to qualify: It’s restricted to Florida residents (Account Owner must be 55+ and have a Florida billing address). Most seniors nationwide can’t get it.
Limited scope: Savings only apply to Unlimited Welcome and only to 1–2 lines.
Competitors win on access & value: T-Mobile 55+ and AT&T 55+ are nationwide, often price-competitive per line and packaged with richer perks—making them easier, broader wins for most seniors.
Why it’s not 0/5: For eligible Floridians, the price points are straightforward ($45/1 line; $80/2 lines with Auto Pay), you get unlimited talk/text/data, and there’s a 3-year price-lock on the base plan rate.
