3. Type “All Trails” and press search.
4. Click “AllTrails: Trail Guides & Maps for Hiking, Camping, and …”
5. The main feature we need is just their large search bar. Click the “Search by city, park, or trail name” field.
Searching for Trails
6. Type in your city or a city near you in the search bar and press enter or search.
7. This will open up a page that shows the best trails in the location you entered.
8. These trails will be sorted by reviews. The trails will be ranked by highest rating. But, we aren’t looking for the rating we are looking for the category next to this which is the difficulty level. Typically we will want to find “easy” trails as these are commonly beautiful scenic trails that are great to just get out and get the blood flowing.
9. We will click on a listing to read more about the trail.
10. Here we can click on the photo icon to view different pictures submitted by users. This allows us to get a feel for the terrain and see if we could do the hike.

12. Click “Directions” to open up directions from your location to the trail.
13. The waypoints tab has a bunch of fun information like: best things to see on the trail and what to look out for.
14. Like in this trail they show us that there are 120,000 year old fossils along the sandstone on the beach as you are walking this trail.
15. Click “Contact” this will open an information tab that gives you everything you need to know about pricing to get in (if there is any) and common ways to contact the managers of the trail.

17. Click “Tips” to find some more tips about the trail. These are usually general but can include some useful information about the hike.
18. If you keep scrolling you can see the weather and upcoming weather.
19. If we keep scrolling we can find user reviews.
20. Click the “Search reviews” field. Here we can search for keywords. Usually we would search for things like easy or hard to see if anyone talks about the difficulty.

22. Double-click the “Search reviews” field.
