The Hugo Pautler Senior Center is part of the Valley Community & Senior Center, a non-profit organization located at 549 5th Street in Clarkston, Washington. The center is dedicated to enhancing the lives of the community’s senior population by providing a central place for activities, meals, and social connection to help them remain independent.
A primary service is the nutrition program. The “Senior Round Table” offers low-cost, hot congregate meals on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. In partnership with other regional organizations, the center also provides frozen meals and a home-delivery meal service for those who are unable to visit in person.
The center offers a wide range of social and recreational activities. These include low-impact exercise and gentle yoga classes, arts and painting sessions, and various card and game groups. Health and wellness services are also a focus, with regular blood pressure checks and foot care services available on-site. Additionally, the facility houses a lending library, a beauty shop, and a barbershop for the convenience of its patrons.
For more specific information on meal times, activity schedules, or services, the center can be contacted at 509-758-4064.
